In Salzgitter–Thiede, three private owners held a total of approx. 160,000 sqm land suitable for building and expressed their desire to persuade the city to commence building zone procedures, find a potential investor and ultimately sell the land.

Our services in this development process extending over a four year period and included the following key aspects:

• Coordination with the Lord Mayor and the various departments
• Coordination with authorities and political bodies at both local and city level
• Contacting various potential investors
• Marketing the area to a reputable developer
• Advice and consulting to the developer
• Acting as broker throughout the entire sale process and building zone proceedings

The actual development work commenced in 2007. Both the buyer, the company VR Projektentwicklung, as well as the three private sellers are more than pleased with the results.
